This Privacy Policy describes how Tier 1 TRT LLC d/b/a Aurafil Health (a Florida limited liability company, Sunbiz filing L26000323466) and Aurafil Health PC (a professional corporation registered in each state where we operate) collect and use information from visitors to this website. We refer to both entities together as “Aurafil,” “we,” or “us.” Health information collected through our patient portal is governed by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which is the controlling document for protected health information.

Mobile messaging (SMS) program
This section applies to the text messaging program operated by Tier 1 TRT LLC d/b/a Aurafil Health.
How we collect your number. We collect mobile phone numbers only where you provide one and affirmatively opt in — through the consent checkbox on our online intake form, through a written or verbal request you make to our care team, or by texting us first. The consent checkbox is never pre-checked, and consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of receiving care.
What we send. Account and appointment notifications, reminders that a lab order or lab result is ready, prescription and shipment status updates, and responses to questions you send us. Message frequency varies based on your care activity.
Opting out and getting help. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further texts. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at support@aurafilhealth.com. Msg & data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Sharing. Mobile numbers and text-message consent records are shared only with the messaging platform and telecommunications carriers strictly necessary to transmit the messages you have requested. They are never shared, sold, licensed, or otherwise disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Retention. We retain mobile numbers, opt-in records, and message logs for as long as your account is active and thereafter as required by applicable medical record-retention and telecommunications recordkeeping obligations.

HIPAA and protected health information
Protected health information collected during the course of clinical care is governed by HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices, which is provided to every patient and posted at our HIPAA Notice page.

Your choices
