1. Overview
Aurafil Health PC and Aurafil Health, LLC (together, "Aurafil," "we," or "us") offer three separate credit programs to eligible patients and referral partners: a one-time Welcome Credit for new patients acquired through organic channels; a Patient Referral Program; and a Provider Referral Program. These terms apply to all three. Where a specific program has additional or different terms, those terms are set out in the relevant section below.
Credits are provided as a discount off Aurafil membership fees. Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, are not transferable except as expressly stated, and never apply to medications, laboratory testing, shipping, or third-party charges. Credits do not affect the quality, quantity, timing, or clinical judgment of any care provided by Aurafil physicians.
2. Eligibility (all programs)
To receive or use any credit under these terms, you must:
- Be a U.S. resident, 21 years of age or older;
- Reside in a state where Aurafil is currently licensed to provide telehealth services;
- Have a valid Aurafil membership in good standing (as the credit recipient); and
- Not be a current beneficiary of a federal healthcare program, defined for purposes of this program as: Medicare (Parts A, B, C, or D), Medicaid, TRICARE, CHAMPVA, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare system, the Indian Health Service (IHS), or the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program. If you enroll in one of the listed programs while a credit is active, the credit is void as of your enrollment date and cannot be redeemed.
Aurafil physicians, employees, contractors, and their immediate family members are not eligible to receive credits.
3. Welcome Credit — new patients from organic channels
What it is. A one-time credit of $150 applied to your first Aurafil membership invoice.
Who it applies to. New patients who begin their eligibility check or checkout from an organic (non-paid) source, including direct navigation, organic search, referral from an existing patient or approved provider, or Aurafil-owned communications. Patients arriving from paid advertising channels (including but not limited to paid search, paid social, sponsored placements, and paid influencer content) are not eligible for the Welcome Credit; those campaigns may carry their own separate offers governed by their own terms.
How it applies. The credit is automatically applied at checkout for eligible signups. No promotional code is required; if a code is provided, it will not stack with the Welcome Credit unless expressly stated.
Limits. One Welcome Credit per person per lifetime. The credit expires 30 days after issuance if not applied to an active subscription. The credit is void if you cancel your membership prior to completion of the first billing cycle in which it was applied.
What the credit covers. The Welcome Credit is applied only to the clinical services component of Aurafil membership (physician consultation, prescription management, care team support, program administration, and platform access). It is not applied to medication, laboratory testing, shipping, taxes, or any other separately billed item. The clinical services component of each membership tier is disclosed to patients on request.
4. Patient Referral Program
Existing Aurafil patients in good standing may share personal referral links with people they know. The following applies:
4.1 Friend credit
Any person who signs up for Aurafil membership using a valid patient referral link, who otherwise meets all eligibility requirements in Section 2, will receive a $150 credit applied to their first invoice as described in Section 3 (Welcome Credit). A referred patient's credit is treated the same as, and mutually exclusive with, the standalone Welcome Credit.
4.2 Referrer credit
Except in states listed in Section 8, an existing Aurafil patient who refers a new patient will receive a $75 credit toward their next Aurafil membership invoice after the referred patient's second successful monthly billing cycle. The referrer credit is subject to the following:
- The referred patient must be a new customer to Aurafil (never previously enrolled).
- The referred patient must complete two successful monthly billing cycles as an active member. If the referred patient cancels, becomes delinquent, or is terminated for cause before the end of the second billing cycle, no referrer credit is issued.
- The referrer and the referred patient must know each other personally. Referral to strangers, general online audiences, purchased email lists, paid influencer arrangements, or any form of paid promotion outside a formally executed provider or affiliate agreement is prohibited.
- A referrer may earn a maximum of ten (10) successful referrals per calendar year and a maximum of $750 in referrer credits per calendar year. Referrals beyond these limits will still result in a friend credit for the referred patient but no additional referrer credit.
- Referrer credits expire twelve (12) months after issuance if not applied.
- Referrer credits are applied only to the clinical services component of Aurafil membership; they never reduce medication, laboratory, shipping, or third-party charges.
4.3 FTC endorsement disclosure
Because you receive a credit for referring others to Aurafil, U.S. Federal Trade Commission rules require that you disclose your material connection to Aurafil whenever you share your referral link or make any endorsement of Aurafil in a public setting. Adequate disclosures include, for example, "I get a credit when you sign up," "#ad," or "referral link — I receive a discount if you enroll." Failure to disclose may result in termination of your participation in the Patient Referral Program and forfeiture of pending credits.
5. Provider Referral Program
Aurafil partners with independently licensed physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, certified strength coaches, gym owners, functional-medicine practitioners, and similar professionals to make care available to their patients, clients, or members. The following applies to the Provider Referral Program:
- Each approved provider is assigned a branded referral URL (e.g.,
aurafilhealth.com/refer/[provider-slug]). - Patients arriving from an approved provider's referral link receive the same $150 credit described in Section 3 (Welcome Credit), on the same terms.
- Approved providers do not receive any cash payment, credit, discount, commission, split, or other financial or in-kind consideration from Aurafil in exchange for referrals. The sole benefit to the provider is making Aurafil's services available to their patients or clients.
- Providers may not condition their referral on the patient's use of Aurafil, may not represent Aurafil as their own service, and must comply with all applicable state fee-splitting, self-referral, and professional-practice laws in their jurisdiction.
- Providers must inform their patient or client of any personal or professional relationship they have with Aurafil sufficient to comply with applicable disclosure obligations, including the American Medical Association's ethics guidance on physician referrals and any applicable state-board rules.
- Approval of a provider is at Aurafil's sole discretion and may be revoked at any time.
6. Program stacking and interaction with other offers
Credits under these programs are mutually exclusive per invoice unless expressly stated. In no event will a single invoice be reduced by more than the total value of the clinical services component of that invoice. If a credit exceeds the eligible portion of an invoice, the remainder rolls forward to subsequent invoices until exhausted or expired.
Credits are not stackable with promotional codes issued through paid campaigns (paid search, paid social, sponsored content, or negotiated influencer offers), nor with employer, insurance, or government-subsidy arrangements.
7. Fraud, abuse, and forfeiture
Aurafil may withhold, revoke, or claw back credits, and terminate participation in any program, on reasonable evidence of:
- Fake or duplicate accounts;
- Self-referral (using a personal or family-controlled account as the "referred patient");
- Undisclosed paid promotion, coupon-site or discount-code aggregator distribution, or public posting of referral URLs to audiences beyond the referrer's warm personal network;
- Chargebacks, non-payment, or cancellation before the qualifying two-month period;
- Misrepresentation about the nature of Aurafil's services or the terms of these programs;
- Any violation of applicable law, including anti-kickback, patient-brokering, fee-splitting, or FTC endorsement-disclosure rules.
8. State-specific terms
To comply with applicable state law, the following state-specific rules apply and control over any inconsistent provision above:
- Florida. Because Florida's Patient Brokering Act (Fla. Stat. § 817.505) is broadly worded, patients in Florida are not eligible to receive the referrer credit described in Section 4.2. Florida patients may still share their referral links with friends and family, and the referred patient (if otherwise eligible) will still receive the friend credit described in Section 4.1. Florida patients remain eligible for the Welcome Credit.
- Texas. The referrer credit for Texas patients is reduced to $50 to remain conservatively within Texas's professional-conduct standards. All other terms apply.
- Massachusetts and California. The referrer credit is available; however, providers referring under Section 5 must comply with Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 175H § 3 (Massachusetts) and Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 650 (California), including the requirement that they receive no financial consideration for referrals.
- Puerto Rico and U.S. territories. Programs are limited to the fifty U.S. states and the District of Columbia. Residents of U.S. territories are not eligible.
- Other states. Aurafil may add or modify state-specific rules from time to time as it expands its licensed footprint or as state regulations change.
9. Federal healthcare program screening
Aurafil takes reasonable steps to screen patients at signup for federal healthcare program beneficiary status. If, at any point, a patient discloses or Aurafil otherwise learns that the patient is a federal healthcare program beneficiary, any then-active or unearned credit is voided and cannot be redeemed. This safeguard protects both the patient and Aurafil under the federal Anti-Kickback Statute (42 U.S.C. § 1320a-7b) and the beneficiary-inducement provisions of 42 U.S.C. § 1320a-7a(a)(5).
10. Tax
Referrer credits earned under Section 4.2 may be reportable as income depending on your individual circumstances. Aurafil does not provide tax advice. Aurafil will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC to any referrer whose aggregate referrer credits and other reportable value from Aurafil equal or exceed $600 in a calendar year, in accordance with then-current IRS thresholds.
11. Changes and termination
Aurafil may modify or terminate any program in whole or in part at any time, with reasonable notice to active participants. Earned but unapplied credits at the time of termination will remain redeemable in accordance with their existing terms, subject to their expiration dates.
12. Governing law and dispute resolution
These program terms are governed by the same governing-law and dispute-resolution provisions as Aurafil's Terms of Service. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be waived under your state's law.
