Frequently asked

The questions everyone asks.

Pricing, labs, pharmacies, privacy, cancellation, scope. If it's not here, the physician answers it during your first message.

Is Aurafil a real clinic?

Yes. Aurafil Health is operated by Tier 1 TRT LLC, a Massachusetts-registered company. Every prescription is written by a board-certified physician licensed in your state, and every medication is filled by a U.S. 503A compounding pharmacy or FDA-approved manufacturer.

Do I need labs before I get treated?

For testosterone: yes, always. We won’t prescribe TRT without recent hormone panels. If you have labs from the last 90 days, upload them. If not, we order them at in-network rates or at a $99 flat fee. For GLP-1: yes — baseline metabolic labs (HbA1c, lipase, thyroid, lipids) are included in the $149/mo, plus safety monitoring at appropriate intervals. For sexual health, labs are case-by-case depending on your history.

What does it cost, actually?

Testosterone plans start at $129/mo (enclomiphene), $149/mo (testosterone monotherapy), or $199/mo (testosterone + HCG). All three are all-inclusive: medication, dedicated RN health coach, baseline and follow-up labs, physician oversight, supplies, and shipping.

GLP-1 coaching is $149/mo. That covers your dedicated RN coach, board-certified physician oversight, safety labs, and prescription writing. The medication is billed directly by the manufacturer’s self-pay pharmacy — Zepbound® from $349/mo via LillyDirect®, Wegovy® from $499/mo via NovoCare®. We do not mark up your drug. If you have insurance that covers Zepbound® or Wegovy®, tell us during intake and we’ll send the prescription to your regular pharmacy instead.

Sexual health starts at $49/mo. No unlock fees, no cancellation fees, no reactivation fees.

How fast can I actually start?

Intake takes 90 seconds. A physician reviews within one business day. If approved, prescription ships in three days. Total: often within a week from first click to first dose.

What if my labs come back and I'm not a candidate?

The physician explains why in writing, refunds the intake fee, and sends you your lab report. You own your data — even if you never work with us again.

Can women use this?

Yes. Our weight-loss and sexual-health programs are open to men and women. Our TRT program is currently for men, but we plan to expand hormone care for women when we've built the clinical protocols to do it right.

Do you take insurance?

Our monthly membership fees are cash-pay — that keeps our pricing predictable. For GLP-1 medication, you can choose the manufacturer’s self-pay channel (LillyDirect® or NovoCare®), or if your insurance covers Zepbound® or Wegovy®, we can route your prescription to your regular pharmacy instead. Labs are billed at in-network rates when your insurance applies, or at $99 flat when it doesn’t.

What pharmacies do you use?

U.S. 503A compounding pharmacies for compounded medications (testosterone cypionate, HCG, enclomiphene, anastrozole, sexual-health protocols, peptides). FDA-approved manufacturers for branded ones — Zepbound® and Mounjaro® ship from Eli Lilly’s LillyDirect® Self-Pay Pharmacy, Wegovy® and Ozempic® ship from Novo Nordisk’s NovoCare® Pharmacy. We disclose the pharmacy source for every compound on the formulary.

Is my data private?

Your intake, labs, and messages are encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is logged. We do not sell your data. Ever. We're SOC 2 Type II in progress and HIPAA-aligned today.

How do I cancel?

One click from your dashboard. No unlock fee. No penalty. No reactivation fee if you come back. You keep every lab, every note, every dose history — forever.
